OUR STORY
Hello friends, my name is Yakub Hasan, I am a fashion designer, I completed my graduation in 2007, and after that, I completed fashion design from Lisa Academy of Bengaluru.
My biggest reason for going into this field was that decorative work on clothes is our family business, we have grown up watching these works.
In our house, all kinds of works like Jardoji, hand work, semi embroidery, and especially hand chicken work which is also called Lakhnawi chikan work have been done in our house for a long time.
Our father and grandfather are the best artisans of hand chicken curry work in Lucknow and till now we are running a big unit of our own in our city Surat with the same hand chicken curry work with good staff.
Apart from this, our father and grandfather also used to prepare new and creative designs, I have also learned a lot by watching them.
In the same way, a painter can create a beautiful and exciting picture on a plain or blank canvas with the power of his imagination, in the same way, I can create a beautiful design on a blank or blank canvas of clothes without any reference..
Keeping this passion for design in mind, I decided to enter this field and eventually became a successful fashion designer.
Friends, as I told you that hend chicken curry work has been done in our house itself, this work is very laborious.
If you have to make a 10-inch buta, then it is possible that it may take a craftsman a whole day to do it. If you have to make a 10-inch statue, it may take a worker a whole day.
In today’s date, fewer artisans are found in Lucknow and its surrounding areas, I don’t know in any other place but in our Surat, artisans of handmade chicken are no longer found.
This is the reason why we closed our years-old Lucknow Chikankari work unit and switched to machine embroidery.
Friends, now we are working on the same Lucknowi Chikankari concept in machine embroidery.
Just like we used to do handmade chikankari work earlier for we used pure soft and delicate fabrics or pure and precious materials, in the same way we used machine embroidery.
It is pure soft and delicate like precious cloth and pure cotton is used, apart from this hand lucknowi chikankari is very good in all 36 stitches,,,,,,, like,

I am aware of all the 36 stitches and I have always tried to make more and more of my machine embroidery designs by making them with my hand.
Stitches are used in handmade chikankari work. I want to incorporate all those stitch effects in my machine embroidery work.
